Property Matters
Our expertise and experience is in litigation relating to complex, complicated or just plain difficult cases in the Family Court system.
The practice’s major focus and substantial experience is in the area of the financial aspects of marital divorce and defacto settlements (property settlement, spousal maintenance and child support).
Children’s Matters
Several of our lawyers have substantial experience in and a long continuing interest in complex cases relating to children. We will accept instructions in select matters including cases where there are special or unusual issues such as relocation applications (either international or interstate), children of same sex relationships, gender reassignment and special needs children (but not sexual abuse cases).
Financial Agreements
Our firm can assist you with drafting a Financial Agreement to provide clarity and certainty as to what will happen with your assets in the event of a separation. These documents can be entered into by defacto couples as well as married couples and they can be entered into before, during or after the conclusion of a relationship or marriage. Drafting and advising in relation to Financial Agreements is a specialised practice and not one carried out by all Family Law firms in South Australia.
